SENIOR DIRECTOR, RETAIL PRODUCTIVITY STRATEGY

Carter's, OshKosh, and Skip Hop stores are conducting interviews virtually and in-person. Prepare ROI / cost-benefit analysis related to inventory strategies and changes, such as initial depth vs replenishment flow, speed to store, store volume/space optimization, clearance generation, and assortment analytics regarding breadth and depth Collaborate cross-functionally to design and develop new capabilities / analytics related to inventory and pricing optimization, assortment strategies, financial plans, style level investments and in-season life cycle management Initiate new strategies regarding inventory optimization across all channels and brands, gather analytics aligned to business nuances, present recommendations to cross-functional leadership team Lead a team to translate future strategies and new initiatives into day to day business practices. Develop advanced analytics to create hindsight assortment reporting, inventory exception reporting, and weekly business dashboard to standardize analytics across all channels. Be the expert in both channel/brands business to represent the team in developing new business processes. Must be able to communicate complex ideas in both technical and user-friendly language to all levels and departments within the organization Knowledge of retail fundamentals, ad hoc reporting and analysis Proficient with retail systems, data warehouse systems (e.g. MicroStrategy), Microsoft Excel / Powerpoint Ability to develop training materials and deliver training sessions Proven ability to tell a business relevant story with analytics to a non-technical audience Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results Dealing with Ambiguity: Able to work with incomplete information and disparate tools to form a constructive and reliable point of view of the business.
