Growing Contemporary Accessory/Apparel Brand looking for Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. Strong background in Growth Marketing with customer and user experience. 10 - 15 years experience. Fully own development and execution of evolving integrated marketing strategies with clearly outlined objectives and KPI’s Build out a long-term road map for the brand and development of meaningful programs that are compelling and consistent across all touch points Manage and grow a group of highly skilled and passionate team members with the approach of their success being your success Manage in house and external creative partners across graphic design, copywriting, photography, and production to ensure imagery, voice, tone and content remains true to the brand positioning, legacy and aesthetic Through a digital first lens, connect with the end consumer to communicate what the brand stands for and why and grow brand presence and engagement and top of mind awareness Create clear segmentation of current and target audiences to implement effective campaigns that engage each group Own calendarization to ensure that key messages are synchronized across all channels and content is produced in timely, engaging, and surprising ways 10 years of years of relevant professional consumer focused marketing experience, with 3 years at a senior level managing teams Experience managing media, content creation, social and Influencer marketing, customer acquisition and retention, and digital marketing Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and synthesize complicated scenarios into easy to understand, effective strategies Proven success in team management with a leadership track record Persuasive and collaborative partner that can work across multiple stakeholders to influence brand-right tactics and champion change with a curative lens Strength in building and maintaining relationships and fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect across key partners Entrepreneurial spirit that is nimble, able to balance priorities, and move quickly in a rapidly changing environment with tight deadlines Lead with a customer first mindset, developing a data informed position on who the current and target customers are, when they are shopping us and why, and implementing strategies and tactics that help acquire and retain valuable customers and look-a-likes Continually define on-going brand equity building techniques to deliver to the core values and brand message and communication of that across the organization Develop and manage the total marketing budget and coach team members on allocating dollars appropriately across content creation, trade support, paid advertising, influencer marketing, partnerships, PR, and agency fees with a goal to maximize spend effectiveness Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the brand experience across all consumer touchpoints including DTC ecommerce, retail, and wholesale Remain current on marketing practices and push the brand forward by implementing new initiatives and testing to drive breakthrough strategies, refresh current content strategies and constantly challenge everyone to adopt and practice industry leading ideas and strategies
