Senior Designer/Merchandiser for Young Mens and Boys Californaia Lifestyle skate, sportswear, and swimwear. Fashion forward design understanding w/ experience in trend research, market shopping, etc Must be experienced and have a full understanding of the California surf lifestyle, for both the Department store and mass markets. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a designer/merchandiser role in mens/boys apparel. Ability to develop and recolor print patterns, and put into repeat Graphic design ability to sketch bodies, and do tech packs Design and lay out trend boards. Strong communication skills with a strong work ethic Organized, detail oriented, results oriented Ability to be flexible, adapt and be responsive to changes A good team player who works well in a fast paced environment Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Excel Mac environment
