The Senior DC & Warehouse Manager will direct the Warehouse, Distribution Center and Incoming Operations in their North Carolina facility. S/he will be the architect behind the development of best-in-class business practices, policies and procedures for operations in their Warehouse and Distribution Center as well as directs and oversees Logistical activities to ensure timely shipping of orders to the customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive a disciplined and targeted approach in the management of the Warehouse, Distribution and Logistics departments Create and deploy a strategic plan to address logistical problems as well as develop, and implement innovative solutions and assist in increasing business growth by improving operations and customer service Drive and monitor performance against recognized Key Performance Indicators in all areas focusing on the achievement of internal & external customer requirements in a manner consistent Analyze data and create/deploy effective tracking methods to monitor performance and plan improvements Develop strategies to improve associate engagement Ensure integrity of inventory is maintained Ensure all activities in the Distribution/Warehouse/Logistics/Incoming operations are completed in a safe and cost-efficient manner Assist in the development of a productive warehouse by collaborating with Human Resources and Department managers in the hiring, training, and professional development for all of its Associates Conduct performance management reviews as well as support ongoing performance recognition and needed performance improvement actions Be an agent of change and continuous improvement for the team Apply modern manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to continuously improve performance and reach world class level of execution Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct reports include Warehouse, Distribution and Incoming Managers.
