SENIOR BUYER - APPAREL

• Partner with related internal teams regarding Scheduling & Planning, retail mark-ups, merchandise flow and on-time merchandise delivery • Source vendors for the appropriate items and work closely with buying teams to purchase items in good time for delivery during peak popularity periods • Work closely with VGL sourcing team to develop new products under our private label brands, looking for ways to expand into products and categories • Analyze past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs • Merchandising and Sourcing Products with better prices to beat our Competitors and other Retailors. • The ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment, think critically, manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines. The other retailing units of VGL Group are in the UK (Shop TJC) and Germany (Shop LC, Germany). Our service to the community is run through our Your Purchase Feeds… program under which each retailing unit donates one nutritious meal to a school-going child in India, the US, and the UK for each item sold through all its platforms.
