Position Summary We are seeking a full-time Senior Buyer/Product Developer (official title: Senior Buyer I) to join our Los Angeles–based corporate office. Partner with the Head of Merchandising to execute product strategy and optimize assortment planningDevelop new products, including creating technical specification packages and selecting fabrics, trims, colors, and embellishmentsOversee the design development process through final production, including fittingsConduct vendor research and selection to improve profitability, reduce operating costs, and increase efficiencyBuild and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality standards and on-time deliveryManage and execute purchase agreements, monitor vendor performance, and renegotiate contracts as neededResearch trends and anticipate consumer shopping behaviors to guide product decisionsAnalyze sales data to identify opportunities for product optimization and adjustmentsManage product launch timelines and maintain accurate sample recordsMentor and support Assistant Buyers 3+ years of professional experience in womenswear buyingAdvanced proficiency in ExcelDemonstrated ability to identify, conceptualize, and execute aesthetic direction aligned with trends, seasonality, and business objectivesStrong negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management skillsData-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics for strategic decision-makingHighly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-drivenSelf-motivated, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel domestically and internationally at least twice per year
