Senior Business Systems Analyst

The Cato Corporation, a leading specialty retailer of value-priced women’s fashion apparel with corporate offices located in Charlotte, North Carolina, operates three concepts: Cato, It’s Fashion and Versona. Responsibilities include: Liaise with key stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate these into requirements for the development of technology solutions to improve business efficiency and execute company goals; Design, test and train merchandising systems and maintains a detailed knowledge of end to end business functions, processes and controls; Develop and maintain understanding of all merchandise-related system workflows, functions, processes and business needs to supply quality support and solutions; Collaborate with cross functional business teams to gather business requirements; Deliver precise functional specifications to Technology partners based off business requirements and use cases; Partner with Technology team to develop business functionality; Work with Technology team to communicate, verify and test functionality changes; Work with business teams to demonstrate the changes to the systems to ensure all relevant business needs are addressed; Develop training materials and provide system and process training; Manage multiple competing priorities through effective communication and organizational agility; Recommend and institute best practices and new functionality to streamline processes; and Coordinate and implement business resolutions.
