SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Description Carter's, Inc. is the largest branded marketer in North America of apparel exclusively for babies and young children. These brands are sold in leading department stores, national chains, and specialty retailers domestically and internationally. Success in this role is the ability to be highly business facing with superb relationship building skills, and bring to life new technologies that enhance business capabilities and improve the bottom line• Analyzes complex business problems and processes and recommends efficiencies using automated solutions or process reengineering• Actively lead requirements gathering discussions and meetings; engage with users to define key business goals and translate to automated system solutions• Create detailed project documents, workflows, test scripts, and diagrams to provide clearly defined project deliverables. Engage delivery teams around shared project vision• Aid business partners in understanding trade-offs and developing consensus• Promote new technology opportunities and trends to business partners• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings• Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management• Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports• Help all levels of business users and IT application owners understand PMO methodology and fit within their projects and domain• Prepare for and present presentations to stakeholders, project teams, and relevant review committees as required• May be required to work with Developers (vendors), QA Testers, Project Managers, and business unit representatives to articulate, develop, test, and validate functions for applications or network platforms\architectures• Work with business unit teams to develop high level cost estimates and possible ROI estimates• Manage multiple competing priorities through effective communication and coordination• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies Industry Standards – 10%• Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends. Experience and Skills • 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field• Bachelors degree in business or related field• Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success with identifying and addressing business user needs: Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.• Business retail experience preferred• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.• Exemplary communication skills (written, presentation, meeting management, documentation) - Required• Excellent documentation skills• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.• A track record of following through on commitments.• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.• Experience collaborating with other IT management and cross functional teams to deliver projects• Experience delivering on projects of various sizes and durations• Strong problem-solving skills• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams• Soft skills necessary to build relationships with employees at all levels• Understanding of Waterfall and Agile project management• Possess forward-thinking vision and the ability to pay very close attention to detail in fast paced world• Adaptable to changing needs within the organization - adapts to rapidly changing priorities #LI-Hybrid
