Senior Bilingual Copywriter (Spanish/English)

Leads, in partnership with Copy Manager, in copy development and projects for Marketing. \- Leads copy development for campaigns (e.g., seasonal, corporate, cause- related) \- Acts as strategic architect of creative solutions \- Ensures standards for Kohl's copy style \- Works closely with art directors and designers to develop concepts for projects and campaigns \- Mentors other writers \- Ensures grammatical and stylistic accuracy in all aspects of Marketing deliverable; creates collaboration between teams \- Responsible for updating files and copy to reflect changes on creative requests \- Responsible for adhering to production schedules and monitoring all updates \- Responsible for knowing the status of each project and managing daily calendar to ensure milestones and deadlines are met \- Leads peers in generating creative digital solutions, takes charge of multiple projects and writes compelling copyBILINGUAL IN ENGLISH & SPANISH \- Develop and execute creative targeting Spanish-speaking customers \- Write in both English and Spanish, and translate copy generated by other writers \- Proofread Spanish copy before final posting or publishing \- Perform accurate English to Spanish translations for communication across all marketing channels including social, digital, print and video \- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or English \- Proficient in Spanish writing and editing \- 5 years related experience \- Superior grasp of grammar and style as indicated by test \- Demonstrated copywriting ability as indicated by writing samples \- Strong ideation and communication skills PREFERRED \- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite \- Experience with Asset Management Tools \- Retail experience
