SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities: Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts Prepare journal entries to be posted to GL Set up client agreements Bill monthly retainers and reimbursed expenses Reconcile Accounts Receivable- collections Bank reconciliations Address inquiries from banks, vendors, management, staff Provide outside accountants necessary information for tax filing Payments of all partnership and shareholder quarterly estimates Audit Expense G/L's Petty Cash Management QuickBooks Administration (Setting up Users & User Rights) A/P (via Checks & wires), incl. obtaining approvals, entering, & cutting checks. Human Resources -- New Hire Paperwork preparation, collection and filing Insurance management - health & business Payroll & Benefits administration Provide annual information to pension administrators Preparation of annual 1099s Downloading of credit card bills into general ledger (use of Divi software a plus) vendor maintenance (w9) Employee Reimbursement Requests Maintain system of keeping track of client expenses for reimbursement (some clients require all receipts) Prepare Monthly Report for owner Wires Manage Accounting Team CEO’s personal taxes -- is payment of estimated taxes and providing tax information for annual tax filing. Review contracts for new and existing client contracts Contracts for new hires Align with Insperity payroll agency Align with Accounting firm Preparing annual Budgets Check Bank Account Daily Qualifications: QBs proficient IT proficient Strong written & verbal communication skills BS or BA in Accounting from a 4-year college or university Minimum of 5 years of general accounting experience Apparel industry experience a plus Experience with GP general ledger software Experience using Excel, with knowledge of V-Lookups and Pivot Tables Excellent written and verbal communication skills Salary: $100,000
