SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Directly responsible for a segment of the business, or particular brand or brands, in addition to standard Account Executive duties and responsibilities. He or she will be responsible for managing an established client base, as well as proactively hunting and closing new business. The ideal candidate will have a history of bringing on new business, hitting sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with prospecting in an ultra competitive market. Interact strategically with PEI upper management Meet with retail buyers and upper management to present product releases on continuous basis and sell to achieve set budgets of each account Partner with the Planning Department to ensure gross margin goals are achieved Build, manage and deliver budgets and sales forecasts Develop, and present assortments and Floor plan recommendations Understanding the chargeback process of each account, research and establish action points Pre-meeting preparation with those involved to strategize sales opportunities Sales presentation set up/follow through including: Meeting agendas and meeting recaps that are proactive and results oriented React to and drive sales opportunities to drive sales Understand competitors strengths and weaknesses Inventory management - more available to sell Enter all make up orders Manage showroom samples Ensure receipt of order distributions from customers and validate EDI orders. Notify sales of any discrepancies Interface with sales coordinators to ensure timely allocation and shipment of all orders Maintain open order reports - modify dates as needed with approval of sales and the customers
