Job Description: Your key responsibility in this role is to offer outstanding customer service throughout point of sale and customer service processes, with a specific emphasis on achieving consistent execution and operational efficiency. Your main aim will be to facilitate prompt service transactions while also crafting a compelling customer service encounter. What You'll Do as Seasonal Store Associate: • Welcome and assist customers effectively by guiding them through product and service options. Operate a cash register, scan items, bag purchases, and handle a variety of payment methods securely • Execute point-of-sale and customer service standards as per company directives, prioritizing courteous, fast, and efficient service delivery to enhance the customer experience • Attain or exceed personal aspirations such as credit and customer dedication • Safeguard inventory precision through the precise execution of all required point of sale and merchandise disposition practices • Support the instruction of newly hired service team members on the training process by showcasing the best practices to follow, teaching them the proper point of sale protocols, and highlighting the utilization of available tools and resources to meet Kohl's brand guidelines • Be actively involved in the daily service operations, which may include tasks like balancing registers, processing change orders, and restocking inventory
