About the position Our Asset Protection team uses advanced technology and analytics tools to reduce shortages and protect our company's bottom line. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. Responsibilities • Greet customers when they enter the store or a department within a store • Use two-way communication devices to maintain contact with Asset Protection Detectives and Management • Remain stationed at high traffic entrances and high-shortage areas to deter theft and monitor suspicious activity • Maintain strict compliance with company policies regarding apprehensions, searches and evidence preservation • Handle proprietary, sensitive, and confidential information • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities
