Sales rep / Closers for Apparel Clothing Wanted!

Confidential New Haven, Connecticut

Experience in the fashion industry and/or garment sales required. You will be required to: • Learn about and become proficient in the company’s product and services lines • Work with the sales team to craft and implement sales strategies • Process inbound orders and follow-up on customer requests • Work with the customer service and logistics teams to fill customer orders quickly and accurately • Prospect accounts from both existing lists of target accounts • Cold call and discover new prospects through online and published sources • Aggressively follow-up on leads • Be responsible for providing excellent customer service • Independently maintain and manage a constant pipeline of prospective accounts through the sales process. • Understand new and relevant products, trends, pricing, and be able to provide accurate information to clients • Maintain and develop strong client relationships, including but not limited to, large retailers, boutiques, online e-commerce brands, in order to meet and exceed sales/revenue goals • Maintain client records and answer any questions about products, prices, and availability • Daily communication with clients on samples trims quality approvals & rejections • Develop; implement marketing strategies, including but not limited to, email campaigns & social media outreach programs • Research and provide feedback on competitors’ pricing/products to Management • Prepare and deliver line sheets, sales presentations, proposals, and reports to Management • Other duties assigned JOB QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in sales capacity and possess the personality, work ethic, and integrity that are required to work at a company that is seeking to aggressively expand sales and close on deals. EDUCATION • College education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Communication, Fashion Merchandising/Production, Fashion Promotion/Marketing, or related field required This is a position for self-starters who are aggressive, hard- working and looking to develop a long-term sales-oriented career.
