The Sales Manager will be responsible for continuously developing the sales strategy across all subchannels of business, while driving overall results. Must be able to successfully juggle multiple projects simultaneously and handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines & new challenges. Must be detail oriented, extremely proactive, driven, professional and possess a strong sales background. Work closely with EVP of Sales to monitor and re-forecast accordingly. Develop and implement comprehensive high-level action plans to grow the comparative store business Manage monthly forecasting process with Planning and Finance Nurture and advance strong business relationships with both major retailers and specialty accounts Leverage sales experience to institute best practices and processes to ensure the efforts of the team are both coordinated and focused Create and perfect reporting tools to analyze sales and business trends in order to send weekly summaries to executives at both a by client and by style level to pinpoint strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats Oversee seasonal buy plans, co­operative advertising budgets, in­store training, visual merchandising strategies, e­commerce layout and copy, and all other aspects of sales relationships Represent the core values of our brand and communicate our goals and initiatives effectively both internally and externally Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or higher with 7-10 years of experience in a sales role with a focus on footwear Wholesale experience required, contemporary experience preferred Strong analytical skills and sound business and financial judgment, goal oriented and highly organized Proven track record of sales success in a similar role with strong relationships and good interpersonal and communication skills Highly skilled in retail math, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint.
