Sales Floor Manager

Beau & Ro is opening a new store on King Street, Sister Shop, and we're seeking a dynamic Store Manager!

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining strong communication between the sales floor and management, and managing inventory needs to support a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the sales floor to ensure efficiency, organization, and adherence to company standards.
• Open and close the store and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
• Support merchandising efforts, floor set changes, and visual presentation according to brand guidelines.

Customer Service & Experience:
• Build lasting connections with our regular shoppers to encourage repeat visits and loyalty.
• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold the brand’s values.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
• Train and coach team members to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Team Leadership:
• Support onboarding by teaching new associates about our brand, products, and store routines.
• Supervise, motivate, and support sales associates to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide performance feedback.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture.

Inventory & Communication:
• Conduct weekly inventory checks to help catch any discrepancies early.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
• Track product performance and customer feedback to inform purchasing and
• merchandising decisions.
• Be responsible for the receiving, tagging, and organizing new merchandise.
• Assisting with product uploads in Shopify, as needed

Reporting & Coordination:
• Collaborate with management to achieve store KPIs and strategic objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, staffing, and inventory reports.
• Support store events, promotions, and special projects, as needed.

Experience & Skills
• Minimum 5 years of retail management or leadership experience, preferably in fashion, boutique, or lifestyle environments.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily floor management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Keen eye for merchandising, visual presentation, and maintaining brand standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and motivate a team.
• Exceptional customer service and the ability to foster long-term client relationships.
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic reporting tools (experience with Shopify is a plus, but not required).

Additional Requirements
• The position is a full time, 40 / hr week role.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and events as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
