Sales Clerk

Responsibilities of Sales Clerk: • Meets company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer; recommends merchandise selections or helps to locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. • Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; maintains pricing and visual standards. • Assists with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc. Demonstrating adeptness in resolving issues is essential for success in this position Physical Requirements of Sales Clerk: • The time spent walking or standing during an 8-hour shift ranges from two-thirds to the entire duration, depending on the nature of the job • Throughout an 8-hour shift, employees may be expected to lift items up to 50 pounds sporadically, comprising anywhere from 1% to 33% of their workload • Climbing activities typically make up between 34% and 66% of the total work time in an 8-hour period
