Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Engaging Customers: Actively assist multiple customers, providing genuine service interactions.Driving Sales: Transform every customer interaction into sales opportunities, fostering brand loyalty through excellent service.Building Relationships: Connect with customers, share your expertise, and express your enthusiasm for outdoor activities.Advocating for Customers: Listen to customer needs carefully and solve issues efficiently on first contact.Leveraging Technology: Utilize POS systems and mobile devices to offer seamless service.Promoting Initiatives: Generate excitement around L.L.Bean programs, like our Outdoor Discovery School.Maintaining Standards: Keep the store organized, uphold visual standards, and support operational processes.Collaborating: Work as part of a team to achieve results and adapt to business changes.Health and Safety: Contribute to a safe workplace by adhering to all safety protocols.Physical Demands:

Stand and walk during your shifts; communicate in person and by headset.Occasionally ascend or descend ladders and stairs.Perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers; occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift weights of 1 to 20 pounds.Occasionally move and lift objects up to 40 pounds (team lift as needed).Skills and Qualifications:

Passionate about providing outstanding customer service.Friendly and outgoing with strong communication skills.Proficient in computer systems and open to learning new technologies.Adaptable and willing to embrace change.Able to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.A genuine love for the outdoors and participation in outdoor activities.L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this role is $16.16. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, geographic location, and proficiency for the role.
