Job Title: Sales Associate Department: Retail We are seeking confident individuals who are enthusiastic about building loyalty, delivering exceptional brand experience, and developing and maintaining customer relationships for Brixton and at the store. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned): • Maintains 100% customer focus • Exemplifies an optimistic and energetic presence through team collaboration while building strong relationships with customers to maximize customer loyalty • Maintains a compelling store experience for customers by engaging and modeling appropriate customer service behaviors • Generates pride and loyalty in the store • Deliver results and contribute to the stores success, awareness of and accountable to store and individual goals • Ensure product is available to the customer and represented in an orderly fashion • Guarantee store is consistently recovered and customer ready meeting brand standards on sales floor and back-of-house • Provide solutions and inspiration to customers in a fast-paced retail environment • Greet guests as they enter the shop, ask whether they would like assistance with anything and provide help if needed in a friendly, hospitable, and efficient manner • Remain knowledgeable about and answer questions related to merchandise, sales, promotions, and store policy • Provide recommendations based on customers stated preferences, needs and desires • Create a warm and cozy atmosphere for our guests in accordance with the vision of the store by acting in a welcoming and approachable manner during customer interactions • Operate a cash register and perform related tasks, including cash handling, credit card processing and opening and closing of the register when on the first or last shift of the day • Straighten, arrange, stock and dust off merchandise, maintain shelving areas as directed by management and participate in the designing of displays in windows and on tables • Locate merchandise for customers • Handle refunds, returns, and exchanges with a focus on timeliness and customer service Qualifications: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred • Must be at least 18 years of age • Preferably have previous retail and/ or customer service experience • Have ability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and store openings and closings, holidays due to store needs • Are confident, energic, positive, and a passion in Brixton • Have strong communication and time management skills • Ability to express oneself clearly and persuasively when making sales • Calm, professional demeanor even when confronted by discourteous customers
