Sales Associate - Clothing/Footwear - Part Time

The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service. Ask questions, learn our customers’ names, and be sure all their needs are met. Responsibilities:Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional mannerProvide product knowledge and recommendations to customersAssist customers with fitting and sizing of clothing and footwearProcess sales transactions accurately and efficientlyMaintain a clean and organized store environmentAssist with inventory management and restocking of merchandiseMeet and exceed sales goals and targetsRequirements:Prior retail sales experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFlexible availability, including weekends and holidaysAbility to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift 40 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders and incoming shipments.Ability to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and performing all functions as set forth.Hours of OperationSmith and Edwards is open Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Sunday.Starting pay from $11 per hourBenefits Part-time position, closed Sundays, great employee discount, advancement opportunities.
