SALES ASSISTANT

Los Angeles based denim company seeks Sales Assistant looking for growth opportunity. The Sales Assistant will report to the Account Executive and assist with managing sales for 4 major accounts, with the goal of improving efficiency and exceeding sales projections. Daily interaction with internal cross functional departments to assist with the flow of information relating to POs Assist with market and major meeting preparation to drive business forward Create line sheets recapping market appointments, and send samples for style out when needed Submit sales orders to customer service and follow up on any required system maintenance Manage open orders and ensure orders ship on time Send out all TOP, marketing and buyer samples Pull weekly selling reports and effectively organize data in Excel to help make correct business decisions Work closely with planning to manage replenishment business Communicate with buyers daily regarding orders 2-3 years’ experience working with major apparel retailers Highly organized with critical attention to detail and deadlines Able to excel in a fast paced environment; willing to change direction quickly Self-motivated and proactive Excellent communication skills Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint 4 year degree preferred but not required
