The Paper Store is hiring a Visual Department Manager to support our Portland, Maine location. The Visual Department Manager is a hands-on retail leadership role responsible for visual merchandising, product presentation, store standards, and the overall customer experience.
As a Visual Department Manager, you will partner with store leadership to execute floor sets, merchandise displays, seasonal transitions, and product launches while helping drive sales and supporting daily store operations.

Coach, train, and support retail associatesLead by example in delivering exceptional customer serviceAssist with onboarding and developing new team membersPromote a positive, collaborative, and team-focused environmentStore Operations
Support daily retail operations and store executionMonitor sales floor conditions and maintain operational standardsPartner with store leadership to achieve sales and performance goalsHelp ensure a clean, safe, and organized shopping environmentWhat We're Looking For
Previous retail leadership, visual merchandising, or department management experience preferredStrong visual merchandising and product presentation skillsExperience executing floor sets, displays, and seasonal merchandising changesExcellent communication and team leadership abilitiesAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environmentPassion for customer service and creating engaging shopping experiencesFlexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbout The Paper Store
