Responsibilities
Assist in the selling process by greeting, interacting with, and responding to customers regarding any special requests they may have.Use extensive knowledge of alterations and passion for providing excellent service to expertly mark, alter, and press the garments our customers select.Ensure the proper fit of garmentsAnswer customer questionsMark garments for tailoringPress garmentsMaintain an open dialogue with managementHelp other team membersHelp to keep the tailor shop clean and organizedMake sure that customers are properly sizedOffer new wardrobe ensemble suggestionsRequirements
Good technical skillSound knowledge of various types of sewing equipmentStrong communication skillsTeam attitude and enthusiasmProficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men’s tailored clothingNice-to-haves
