Role and Responsibilities of Retail Store Tailor Apprentice:

You will provide tailoring and alteration services while supporting customers throughout their shopping experience. This role focuses on garment fitting, alterations, customer service, and maintaining a professional tailor shop environment.

Assist customers by greeting them, responding to special requests, and providing support throughout the selling process.Mark, alter, and press garments based on customer needs and selected apparel.Ensure garments are properly fitted to meet customer expectations.Answer customer questions and provide guidance related to alterations and garment fit.Measure and size customers accurately for tailoring services.Provide wardrobe ensemble suggestions when assisting customers.Maintain communication with management regarding customer needs and alteration services.Support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.Maintain a clean and organized tailor shop area.Required Skills and Experience of Retail Store Tailor Apprentice:

Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive customer experience.Technical knowledge of garment alterations and tailoring processes.Proficiency in basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing.Knowledge of various types of sewing equipment.Strong communication skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:
