Retail Store Manager

Team Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and lead the customer service team, including scheduling, training, and performance management Manage and coordinate alterations department team Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance on customer service best practices and operational procedures Monitor and drive team performance to meet customer order delivery and satisfaction goals Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members Foster a positive and collaborative team environment Customer Service Excellence: Oversee the delivery of personalized customer service to public safety professionals and agency buyers Handle escalated customer issues and complaints, providing resolutions in a timely and professional manner Conduct expert fittings and provide tailored product recommendations for specialized uniform requirements Build relationships with agency buyers and individual customers Learn detailed specifications for various uniform types and departmental requirements Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and reports to the store owner on team performance, operational issues, and customer feedback Communicate effectively with the team, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations At least 4 years of experience in Supervising experience or leadership role Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team coordination and customer interactions with diverse professional clientele Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and retail operations tools Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high store standards Experience in mentoring and developing staff Knowledge of visual merchandising and store presentation Familiarity with alterations processes and coordination with tailor shops Patience and dedication to learn specialized uniform product knowledge Professional demeanor when working with public safety professionals Ability to Relocate: • San Jose, CA 95126: Relocate before starting work (Required)
