Position Summary

As a Retail Store Leader, you will take charge of all facets of store performance, team leadership, and operational execution. You will manage daily store operations, drive sales and profitability, and ensure a remarkable customer experience while mentoring and developing a high-performing store team.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Performance
• Oversee daily store operations to consistently meet sales targets, profit objectives, and customer experience standards.
• Track sales performance and proactively implement strategies to enhance results and address any opportunities.
• Maintain financial accountability, including payroll management, shrink prevention, and controlling operating costs.
• Ensure robust inventory controls, accurate inventory transactions, and compliance with shrink prevention guidelines.
• Uphold all Citi Trends operational procedures and standards.

Team Leadership & Staffing
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, coach, and, when necessary, administer corrective actions or terminate associates according to company policies and legal guidelines.
• Direct and supervise associates involved in sales, inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
• Establish and maintain appropriate staffing levels to support store operations and performance.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance the development of store associates.

Customer Experience & Compliance
• Ensure that customers consistently receive top-notch service in a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Reinforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards.
• Guarantee that merchandising, operational, and visual standards are executed consistently.
• Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations and business needs.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Store Manager or in an equivalent retail leadership role.
• 5-7 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong skills in communication, organization, and people management.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends.
• Basic math proficiency, including calculating percentages.
