Job Overview

As a Women's Clothing Selling Support colleague, you will assist customers in finding styles that reflect their personal expression. With an enthusiasm for fashion, strong communication skills, and extensive product knowledge, you will connect with shoppers and provide outstanding service.

You will move throughout the sales floor to understand customer needs, promote loyalty programs, and guide clients through a seamless shopping experience. Alongside providing excellent service, you will maintain merchandise standards, assist with fitting room support, keep the sales floor organized, and participate in order fulfillment to ensure a shop-ready appearance.

Daily Responsibilities

- Start each workday ready to make a difference, wearing your name badge with pride.
- Greet fellow colleagues, help prepare the floor, and ensure a clean, organized space for shoppers.
- Review sales targets, stay up to date on new arrivals and top-selling items, and learn about current trends and promotions before each shift.
- Engage with customers by welcoming them warmly, making eye contact, and starting friendly conversations to build lasting relationships.
- Throughout your shift, maintain a shoppable space by keeping the floor and fitting rooms neat, updating sale signs and pricing, and assisting with merchandise changes.
- At the end of each interaction, share loyalty program benefits, confirm customers have everything they need, thank them sincerely, and often assist them with their purchase using their name.
- Foster a supportive environment by collaborating with co-workers through honest communication and teamwork.
- Strive to achieve daily and store-wide sales goals while continually seeking ways to improve and learn from one another.

Scheduling Details

- Full-time positions are typically scheduled 30 or more hours weekly.
- Part-time roles involve 12-24 hours per week.
- Schedules will include weekend shifts as part of the requirement.
- Hours are determined by business needs and colleague availability.

Who You Are

- Available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Skilled in effective communication with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
- Comfortable building relationships and working collaboratively with both customers and colleagues.
- Motivated to meet daily sales targets and acquire new customers through credit account openings and loyalty benefit sharing.
- Enjoy talking to people, learning about their needs, and providing information.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and ready for new challenges - capable of working independently and within a team.
- Proficient in using electronic devices.

Physical Requirements

- This position involves frequent talking, lifting, standing, moving, and using arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift up to 25 lbs., including stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level.
- Requires the ability to distinguish colors, adjust focus, and perceive depth.
- Frequent use of computers and technology, including handheld devices and register systems.
