Summary Seasonal and regular retail Salesperson responsible for achieving sales goals through in-store and digital selling, cultivating customer relationships, and supporting department merchandising and operations. The role requires flexibility in schedule and occasional work in other departments as needed. Physical stamina is required for extended periods of movement and handling merchandise. Responsibilities • Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using text and social media • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers • Provide excellent customer service and offer honest feedback on style and fit • Develop product and fashion knowledge to advise customers • Assist with department tasks including filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning • Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts to grow relationships • Work a flexible schedule that varies by week based on business needs • Occasionally perform duties in departments other than the one hired into Requirements • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong sales focus • Comfortable using networking and technology to drive sales • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment • Organized with strong follow through • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs • Physical ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
