Retail Sales Associate – Luxury Men's & Women's Clothing

Button Down – San Francisco, CA

Button Down, a premier luxury men's and women's clothing store in San Francisco, is looking for an experienced Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

We are seeking a personable, fashion-forward sales professional who understands luxury retail and enjoys working with discerning clientele. The ideal candidate has a proven sales record, strong knowledge of upscale clothing brands, excellent styling skills, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

Provide personalized, high-level customer service to a discerning clientele.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals.
Use your knowledge of luxury brands, fit, fabrics, and styling to make thoughtful product recommendations.
Create complete outfits and wardrobe solutions for both men and women.
Maintain a strong knowledge of current fashion trends and the brands carried by Button Down.
Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining an elevated presentation throughout the store.
Receive, organize, and replenish merchandise.
Assist with inventory, stockroom organization, and other day-to-day store operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales environment.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Be willing to assist with a variety of responsibilities necessary to support the store and team.

What We're Looking For

Previous retail sales experience, preferably in luxury or upscale apparel.
A proven track record of sales success.
Knowledge of premium and luxury men's and women's clothing brands.
Strong understanding of styling and the ability to create complete outfits.
Experience working with discerning or high-end clientele.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Outgoing, confident, personable, and professional personality.
Strong sense of personal style and a polished professional appearance.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Team-oriented with a positive, "pitch-in-and-help" attitude.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Flexibility to assist with responsibilities beyond traditional sales duties.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

Stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
Frequently bend, reach, and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
Lift and move merchandise weighing up to 20 pounds.
Perform the physical tasks associated with a busy retail environment.
