Retail Sales Associate - Kidswear & Shoes

We are seeking a passionate and driven Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Nordstrom, specifically in our Kidswear & Shoes department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our youngest customers and their families, helping them find the perfect outfits and shoes for any occasion. We are looking for someone who is energetic, customer-focused, and has a love for fashion and children. Assist customers in finding the perfect outfits and shoes for their children, based on their needs and preferences.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to customers and addressing their concerns or questions.
Maintain a clean and organized department, including restocking merchandise and ensuring proper display.
Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale system.
Uphold Nordstrom's customer service standards, including going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
Collaborate with team members and department managers to achieve sales goals and provide a seamless shopping experience for customers.
Actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Proactively seek out and resolve any customer issues or concerns.
Assist in inventory management, including restocking and organizing merchandise.
Maintain knowledge of Nordstrom policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
