Retail Operations Lead

Description: Ross Stores is looking for a proactive and organized Retail Operations Lead to join our fast-paced team. As a key leader in one of the nation’s largest off-price retail chains boasting over 2,200 locations and 2023 revenues exceeding $20.4 billion you will play a vital role in maintaining the "treasure hunt" experience our customers love. At least two years of leadership experience in a retail or high-volume service environment.Proven ability to mentor and motivate a diverse team of associates.Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines.Comfortable making independent decisions and exercising sound judgment during floor shifts.Excellent communication skills and professional fluency in English.Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.Physical capacity to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and navigate all areas of the sales floor and stockroom.Basic mathematical proficiency for retail calculations and payroll administration.Benefits: Serve as the Retail Operations Lead by overseeing store logistics and ensuring all "best practice" procedures are followed to maximize productivity.Supervise the processing of incoming merchandise to ensure items reach the sales floor quickly and meet company presentation standards.Manage daily administrative duties, including payroll processing, punch edits, and staff scheduling to align with budget goals.Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment by leading safety meetings and executing loss prevention protocols.Coach associates on providing exceptional customer service and efficient checkout experiences.Monitor store expenses and help analyze performance reports to keep the location profitable and within budget.Direct the housekeeping and recovery efforts to ensure the store remains clean, organized, and easy for customers to shop.Assist with recruiting and training new team members to foster a high-performing and inclusive workforce.
