Retail Leadership Training Program - Valley Fair

Summary Accelerated retail leadership training program running March 23 to May 15, 2026 at Valley Fair with a two-week Nordstrom Rack rotation. Trainees gain hands-on selling and management experience and will be placed as Assistant Department Managers within 20 miles of the training store upon successful completion. Responsibilities • Drive daily sales and meet or exceed sales goals • Build customer relationships and deliver exceptional service • Lead and motivate teams while supporting an inclusive environment • Participate in all training sessions and store rotations • Learn merchandising, goal setting, and operational standards • Rotate through a Nordstrom Rack store to understand fast paced operations • Be flexible to work evenings weekends and multiple locations Requirements • At least 1 year of retail experience preferred • Strong communication skills and passion for leadership • Availability for the duration of the program • Ability to work evenings and weekends • Willingness to accept placement within 20 miles of the training store • Ability to provide own transportation for the 2 week Rack rotation • Comfortable with selling and meeting sales targets
