Retail Event Marketing - Fashion

We’re seeking a Retail Event Marketing Professional with a background in fashion and a passion for creating memorable experiences. You’ll plan exciting in-store events, manage brand messaging across digital channels, and help us connect with a new generation of fashion lovers—without losing sight of our loyal, long-time clientele. Key Responsibilities • Plan, coordinate, and host in-store events (e.g. designer trunk shows, seasonal launches) that drive traffic and sales • Collaborate with stylists and buyers to align events with new arrivals and merchandising strategy • Develop partnerships with local influencers, creatives, and businesses to increase store visibility and reach younger demographics • Design visual marketing assets for social media, email campaigns, and in-store signage • Supervise social media and e-commerce team members to ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity • Track and analyze event and marketing performance (sales, engagement, attendance) to inform future strategies • Manage project timelines, vendor coordination, and promotional calendars Qualifications • 3+ years experience in retail marketing, event planning, or fashion merchandising (luxury or boutique setting preferred) • Strong creative eye and a solid grasp of brand alignment • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Klaviyo) and social media tools • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Comfortable being hands-on at events and interfacing with customers and designers • Leadership or team supervision experience is a plus • Knowledge of the Portland creative community or local partnerships is a bonus Location: Portland, OR (On-site) Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (depending on candidate) Pay: $36–$42/hour (DOE)
