Retail Co-Manager for Trendy Teen Fashion Store

Responsibilities • Meet and exceed store sales goals and performance standards • Assist in recruiting and hiring high-caliber employees • Train and develop a successful sales team • Provide coaching, feedback, and accountability to team members • Supervise daily store operations in the absence of Store Manager and Manager In Training • Manage Loss Prevention practices effectively • Ensure effective communication of store needs to management • Resolve customer issues and provide an enjoyable shopping experience • Uphold the Journeys culture and demonstrate it to the team • Handle bank deposits and open/close the store Qualifications • Prior management experience in a retail environment preferred • 6-12 months of retail sales experience • Strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment • Must be at least 18 years of age • Completion of all training programs leading to Co-Manager position • Ability to work 45 hours per week, including nights and weekends • Capacity to stand for long periods of time Why work in Reno, NV
