Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout, including handling cash, credit/debit cards, and gift cards.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies and equipment are well-stocked and functional.
Assist customers with any inquiries or requests, providing helpful and knowledgeable product recommendations and information.
Collaborate with sales floor team members to ensure a smooth and seamless shopping experience for customers.
Support sales floor operations, including restocking merchandise, maintaining visual displays, and organizing inventory.
Actively engage with customers, building rapport and relationships to promote customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Uphold Nordstrom's high standards of customer service and professionalism, representing the company in a positive and professional manner.
Continuously develop product knowledge and stay updated on current fashion trends to effectively assist customers and drive sales.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude, working collaboratively with team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the checkout, sales floor, and backroom storage areas.
Proactively identify and resolve any customer service issues or concerns, escalating to management when necessary.
Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve customer service skills and product knowledge.
Serve as a brand ambassador, representing Nordstrom's values and commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all times.
