Uptown Cheapskate Reno is opening soon and is looking for energetic, fashion-forward individuals to help launch our Reno location. We are a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults, carrying thousands of mall and luxury brands at up to 80% off regular retail prices. We make fashion more sustainable by giving gently used clothing a second life.
We're looking for full-time and part-time Buyers who have a passion for style, excellent judgment, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and purchase gently used clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories based on current trends and company buying standards
Deliver an exceptional experience for customers selling items to the store
Stay up to date on fashion brands, seasonal trends, and market demand
Organize and process incoming and outgoing inventory efficiently
Merchandise and replenish the sales floor to create an exciting shopping experience
Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment
Assist with social media content and in-store promotions
Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, positivity, and outstanding customer service
Work collaboratively as a team player to help create a fun and supportive workplace culture

Every month, Uptown Cheapskate buys and resells thousands of gently used clothing items at a fraction of their original retail price. Our stores feel more like a boutique than a thrift shop, making secondhand shopping fun, fashionable, and accessible.
