REAL ESTATE LEASING REPRESENTATIVE

Established in 1931, maurices operates 935 stores in communities across North America. Position Overview: The Real Estate Leasing Representative will be responsible for market analysis, lease negotiations, and managing real estate for our existing store base. Performance requirements Ensure all renewals are completed on plan: All renewals meet or exceed profit expectations Work with Landlords on successful renewals that lead to additional new stores Review proforma results and develop market research Coordinate the Lease Action review with the AVPs, Real Estate and Store Operations to ensure clearly defined direction for negotiations Networking within the industry to develop relationships beneficial to maurices Ensure relocations/expansions are executed on plan: Make strong market recommendations for new store locations based on market knowledge Develop on-going communication with field store operations to streamline site approvals All deals are developed with solid economics and adequate lease protections (out clauses, length of term, tenant allowances) Live the company values and contribute positively to the culture: Work effectively with all associates, finds common ground and forms partnerships Work Experience and education requirements Education: Bachelor degree in Business or Finance preferred or relevant experience Experience: 1+ years experience in retail leasing preferred Skills: Strong analytical and decision making skills Detail oriented Solid negotiation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong ability to build relationships and continuously network Good listening, inquiry, and advocacy skills Ability to multi-task and self motivate
