QUALITY COLOR ANALYST

BUSINESS IMPACT STATEMENT Responsible for verifying printability and overseeing the overall quality of the print program. Recommends process and quality improvements internally and externally. Accountable for overall proof match quality of projects Reviews/approves all color proofs (submits) and/or digital files to ensure standards of quality and file integrity are met for the best possible color reproduction and consistency across projects Reviews/approves Kohl’s brand assets for color, printability and consistency Participates in reviewing and evaluating any print test, makes color recommendations to Creative Recommends internal process improvements Reviews any printed material; may necessitate travel to print facility, weekend hours and/or overtime Provides direction for quality improvements internally and externally Provides constructive and informative feedback to Creative partners for file integrity improvements Conducts meetings with print partners regarding production issues/improvements as necessary Conducts internal quality meetings as necessary Consultant for Creative and/or Production teams Participates in conference calls with printers Generates all press evaluations and sends to print Divisions Regularly communicates with print partners regarding production issues/improvements Makes sound color requests for the assurance of best press match to color proofs
