The Purchasing Managers main responsibilities is to ensure on-time availability of all raw materials, fabrics and purchased components for manufacturing production. The manager will be responsible for processing Purchase Orders through QuickBooks, tracking inventory using Excel and follow up with the suppliers for any changes in pricing, ETAs or availability status. Aligning other department such as Sales of any pricing changes on raw materials is vital in order to keep Bill Of Materials up to date. Create and submit PO for materials required for production and according to inventory management plan. Ability to negotiate vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements.
