Growing Girl’s import apparel company seeking production and sourcing coordinator for daily communication to factories in our multiple category lines which include sportwear, occasion dresses, swimwear, sleepwear, outerwear. Responsibilities Include: Daily communication to factories on all production related matters Managing the life cycle of all styles in production Playing a key part in sourcing styles with factories Communicating retailer requirements to factories – labeling, packing, ticketing, hanging, marking. Reviewing and approving compliancy. Following up on production and delivery status through daily emails Keeping track of submits and production status with the following reports: Time and Action, Work in Process and daily emails with the factory Distributing lab dips and sample submits to the Design and Tech departments and passing their comments to factories Executing all sample lines, including special make ups with factory by dates needed Reviewing Lab Test reports and Inspection Reports Assisting the sourcing manager and owners of the company in sourcing new factories Track all testing compliance Working with overseas freight forwarders to approve shipments
