PRODUCTION MANAGER

Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Merchandising/Product Development, Design or equivalent years of experience Must have 8 years of experience in product development, design or production in garment manufacturing Exceptionally strong problem solving and negotiating skills Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural and high paced environment Ability to partner cross functionally and build strong working relationships with respect Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and process implementation Demonstration of a high level of organization in the product development process Strong experience in using Microsoft office in particular Excel and Outlook Working knowledge of programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Gerber Web PDM Demonstrated ability to be proactive and prioritize Solution oriented and strong initiative Results oriented, willingness to go above and beyond No job too small mentality Main Responsibilities: Manage all phases of development cycle from initial concept through production hand-off Partner with production team on allocation and sourcing strategy Manage and execute product development activities from initial design concept to SMS approval and drive issue resolution Partner with Design team during early development in order to manufacture samples as needed Create and monitor calendars to ensure timelines of deliverables Partner with Design to ensure products are executed with design specifications. Responsible for maximum style/cc development ratios at the category level and also managing Design capacity Partner with Sourcing, Production teams for challenges and issues while maintaining brand standards.
