Production Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: Well known girls apparel company is seeking a production manager responsible for establishing, developing and directing the factory allocation, production strategy and execution of the production process. He or She will effectively manage business relationships with our factories to leverage lower costs and reduce lead time without sacrificing quality. Contributes to the seasonal production process by coordinating the placement, execution and follow-up of manufacturing orders and by ensuring the timely delivery of quality product. Implement strategies to streamline efficiency of the production and product develpoment processes Manage a team of production coordinators Direct communication and follow up on production status with overseas factories on a daily basis Maintain and follow up on a time and action calendar for pre-production/ TOP samples, testing, production & inspection to ensure on time delivery Input a manual for factories to follow by order/customer Manage and oversee approval process Partner with cross-functional teams- Sales and design team Problem solve and communicate all production issues internally 5 years of experience as a production manager in an apparel company preferably in childrens Experience in AMT is plus Ability to prioritize and multitask with a keen sense of detail and urgency.
