Product Testing and Accessories Manager

Hard lines (ceramics, metal, paper, rubber, and wooden accessories, etc.) Evaluate test reports - preproduction and production Request needed specimens to review / resolve failures and follow up as needed with corrective action plans which you establish Communicate with third party laboratories on an as needed basis Interact with vendors regarding testing and monitor weekly their testing tracking charts Review soft lines and hard lines prototypes and revised samples as needed; interact with Technical Designer as needed of "fitted" accessory items; document product specification requirements as needed Spear-head technical development of accessory styles for soft lines and hard lines building quality into the product Perform additional duties as required You'll know you're successful when: You meet your annual goals You are considered a cultural asset to the Product team at Life is Good Life is Good product delivered to customers achieves 100% quality satisfaction Your Experience and Qualifications: You have an understanding of ASTM, AATCC & other test methods / industry standards for apparel, soft line accessories and hard line products You have an understanding of federal and state regulations for soft lines and hard lines products for the US and additional countries where Life is Good product is sold You have experience working with third party labs to evaluate test reports and identify corrective action or determine when it is appropriate to waive requirements You have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PLM system, etc.) You have a BA or BS degree Your Personal Attributes: You believe passionately in our mission and the Life is Good Superpowers You are skilled and comfortable working independently and as part of a team of dynamic merchandising professionals You are known for your ability to give and receive feedback thoughtfully and constructively You have strong written and verbal communication skills You have an excellent sense of organization, initiative and keen attention to detail You have a positive approach to problem solving You can meet deadlines as required for production cycles Benefits: We're located in beautiful, scenic Hudson, New Hampshire.
