PRODUCT SUPERVISOR - SAKS PHOTO STUDIO

The Product Supervisor is responsible for liasing with vendors, merchants, studio and digital partners, and ultimately responsible for ensuring timely publication of items to Saks.com. Who You Are: Proactively works with vendors to ensure all merchandise is shot and copy attributes are complete, 8 weeks prior to go live date (launch date, pre-order date, start ship date) Maintains Master Sample Tracking Sheet for each product purchased for Saks.com by fashion season Maintains and sets up all items in product management system Completes the turn-in styling instruction sheets for the photo studio by partnering with the buying office and vendor Partners with cross-functional partners (item setup, buying office, studio, creative teams) to ensure timely publication of products Manages the master turn-in calendar by working in partnership with the manager and buying offices Proactively manages the flow of samples and turn-in schedule to minimize peaks and valleys Supports the Manager & Director on any and all Sample Management special projects (European Shoots, VPI, time studies, physical inventory) Provides status reports on the workflow summary report and project progress updates to the Manager / Director Ad-hoc projects and data entry As The Product Supervisor, You Will: Manage all products for assigned area of the business purchased for Saks.com Coordinate master turn-in calendar by working with buying offices and photo studio Communicate with vendors and buying office to prepare shoots and work with buying offices and vendors to creatively and appropriately style sets Prepare materials for daily / weekly turn-in and present to the studio Work with Manager, Buyers, Merchandising Assistants, Item Setup Associates, and Sample Assistants to ensure timely and accurate publication of products (item copy and image accuracy, classification, and publication dates) Serve as a liaison to all vendors; maintain vendor information and communication, including proactively following up on attributes and missing images Partner with Merchandising Assistants to coordinate on-time PO upload Partner with Buyers to meet and exceed company targets and objectives Work with the Sample Assistants to ensure sample tracking through the turn-in process (i.e. track the whereabouts of physical samples, copy attributes, and VPIs) Work within PIM and Box.com to ensure correct publication of all items turned in Your Life and Career At Saks: Be part of a world-class team; work with an adventurous spirit; think and act like an owner-operator!
