Overview The Product Manager is responsible for managing all footwear Product Creation with select Key Account Partners. Conceptualize, plan, and execute all SMU needs from briefing through creation- ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and clear on output and expectations. Ensure a balanced, effective product assortment that meets or exceeds revenue and margin targets Lead and manage cross-functional product line process Lead, manage, and include all appropriate functions in the range planning process inclusive of model selection, silhouette offer, color, and flow plan, etc Manage the life cycle of all products within the category Develop compelling, marketable category concepts, stories, and/or global vision that balance analysis with aesthetic Lead / communicate seasonal product briefing process Assist / create product presentations for team, executives, GMM (Global Management Meeting), and key milestone meetings Market Strategy Develop Go To Market strategies that focus on Key Accounts and our shared consumer. Ensure products / product lines meet account and market requirements while meeting budget, and targeted Go-In-Margin, revenue, quality / pricing, and timelines Analyze and prepare global category business performance reports Strategic Acting Partner with cross-functional leaders to design, streamline, and optimize processes and workflows to ensure quality of entire commercialization process Successfully partner with all other areas within and outside the department to ensure that stories, messages, and overall deliverables are in alignment with the entire department's goals Result Orientation Drive accountability across the team, ensuring timely completion of all tasks within the seasonal development calendar, successful conclusion of time-sensitive special projects, and continually identifying ways to improve the process Manage Business (Processes and Projects) Communicate updates, status quo of relevant projects, and business results to relevant team / project members, business partners, and others in a timely and appropriate manner Lead departmental and/or cross-function, special seasonal project teams Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Proficient level of computer skills, including MS Office Excellent analytical skills Utilize personnel, financial, and material resources effectively and efficiently to get things done Think and act in a goal-oriented manner, prioritize, and complete tasks in order of importance Create an effective work environment in which people can perform best by ensuring the availability or resources, e.g. by hiring best people available from outside and inside or by allocating budgets appropriately Excellent oral and written communication skills Build consensus and influence others Tackle conflicts proactively and find constructive solutions together with his/her counterparts Experience managing a small team is preferable.
