THE PURPOSE: Manage the denim product development and production cycle from inception of sketch to buy pass. Oversee upstream development inputs, i.e. Tech packs, fabric & lab dip approvals and wash standards are complete and on time to meet larger GTM market calendar deadlines and dates. THE ROLE (what you are accountable for) · Assist with pre-production sourcing fabrics/trims and garment development · Transfer design ideas onto development briefs which specify the fabric/color and construction of each garment · Coordinate wash standards between vendors and design to ensure vendors understand our expectations. · Communicate with global vendor base throughout product’s life cycle · Work with tech designers and patternmakers to ensure that t/p’s align with complete BOM’s. · Ensure all tech packs and patterns are released to vendors in a timely manner to meet calendar deadlines.
