Responsibilities This is not a senior position This position is for someone with maybe 3 years experience Responsible for adding new products to assigned categories (licensed or in house brands) Oversee the product lifecycle from start to finish Work with China, India and/or domestically to source products in various categories Manage and approve all samples for production with team collectively Get initial costing from China, and understand retails based on existing product or in store competitive shopping Work closely with Customers, Sales, Design, Production, Licensing Coordinator and Senior Management on a daily basis Ability to multi-task on various projects under strict timelines Be required to competitive shop for inspiration and conduct product analysis Work independently and/or in unison with peers May be required to travel overseas Attend and prepare for the International Housewares Show (IHA) in Chicago, IL Requirements Bachelor’s Degree Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) 2+ years in professional product development experience in like or similar field Daily use of internal PDM system for products ordered Understand industry, consumer and category trends Excellent communication skills Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients Send resume in word include salary desired with a small bio.
