PRODUCT DEVELOPER - HYBRID

We are Careismatic Brands, and we are the global leader in medical apparel, footwear, and accessories, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Product Developer in our hybrid corporate office in Chatsworth, California. This is a key position that provides development support to the Merchandising Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail, eagerness to learn, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities Assisting the Merchandising Team in all aspects of the development process through production Creating detailed flat sketches and technical sketches using Adobe Illustrator Maintaining all layouts to reflect seasonal style development status Maintaining detailed trackers to follow the status of seasonal developments Creating detailed tech packs to initiate development while adhering to standards Attending fittings and taking thorough notes to relay detailed fit comments Initiating and tracking trim and fabric sourcing Managing and prioritizing tasks in time with calendar deadlines for consistency Prepping samples for fitting—this includes taking specs from samples, pulling record of previous fit or tech pack, and referencing samples to ensure key measurements are being met Evaluating samples for design and quality standards Maintaining and organizing style library Working directly with Merchandising Team to accomplish daily rushes and meet deadlines Additional administrative and support tasks as needed Requirements At least five years of experience in the apparel or medical uniform industry Experience creating detailed tech packs and providing detailed fit comments Knowledge of fabric, trim, and garment construction Detail-minded, proactive, and team-oriented with ability to multi-task to meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with pattern revisions a plus Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel highly utilized) Proficiency in PLM and InDesign is a plus College degree preferred We offer a competitive salary and benefit package, a team-oriented work environment, state-of-the-art offices, and an opportunity to learn and grow.
