We are Careismatic Brands, Inc. (CBI), global leader in the manufacture and distribution of medical apparel, footwear, and accessories. Headquartered in our hybrid corporate office in Chatsworth, California, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Product Developer. This individual is responsible for initial concept through final fit development and PP release to source base, system engagement, and team engagement for Cherokee, Dickie’s, and HeartSoul brands. Responsibilities Initiating and requesting seasonal concept proto’s development Managing deliverables and milestones against seasonal GTM calendar and PLM system Approving and managing existing fabric and new fabrics lab dips Managing the branding and trim lab dip approvals Requesting initial costing from Production Team and making entries in PLM system Implementing and entering new and carryover styles in PLM and maintaining through PP release Packing and shipping samples for License, Customers, and Accounts Reviewing with Design PLM line sheet for accuracy Managing and updating revisions post-merch release on Excel document Collaborating with Design Team for information on seasonal newness and carryover updates for PLM system data entry Supporting and participating in design handoff meetings for seasonal newness Collaborating with Patternmaking to track status of development Maintaining communications with Sourcing/Production on all trim quality and color approvals Initiating sample requests with Marketing, Design, and Sales Communicating with Marketing for branding updates and requirements Creating and implementing seasonal product styles set-up in the PLM system Managing and releasing batching for seasonal and prints styles in release and pre-release stages Requesting samples in sample tracker system Requirements At least five years of apparel industry with expert knowledge of fabric, trim, and garment construction Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Thorough, accurate, and detail-oriented Able to meet milestone objectives and drive deliverables against GTM calendar Highly collaborative and team-oriented Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator Experience with PLM systems, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and InDesign is a plus.
