Candidates must have import and private label development experience, strong product knowledge, be organized, self-motivated, detail orientated, have excellent written/oral communication skills, and a POSITIVE attitude. Manage the development process from fabric, TP, and approvals, including lab dips, strike offs, fabrics, trims, & PP sample aesthetic approval Source and initiate fabric and trim R&D Negotiate and manage costing including cost engineering to meet price and margin goals Manage TNA and development WIP tracking to ensure on-time sample deliveries Publish sample status to internal cross-functional teams Manage daily communication with overseas/import vendors Execute to customer specifications, procedures, and calendars Update CADs and tech packs when needed Prepare and manage packages to overseas factories Communicate, interface and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Design, Production, Technical Design, Merchandising and Sales Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: Strong multitasking, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office Experience in developing and costing for PL customers is a huge plus Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in apparel imports Please include salary history along with a resume.
